Cyclopentyl methyl ether CPME, also known as methoxycyclopentane or cyclopentyl methyl ether, is a colorless liquid in appearance. It is a novel environmentally friendly, high-performance hydrophobic ether solvent, slightly soluble in water, and suitable for use in the manufacturing processes of pharmaceuticals, electronic materials, fragrances, and chemical products (such as polymerization solvents, reactions, extraction, crystallization, etc.).

It is primarily used as a comonomer and an environmentally friendly hydrophobic ether solvent. High-purity cyclopentyl methyl ether is suitable for applications in electronics, pharmaceuticals, and other fields. In the electronics sector, cyclopentyl methyl ether can be used as a non-fluorinated weakly solvating wide-temperature solvent for lithium-metal batteries and as a solvent for high-concentration electrolytes.

1. 2. As a reaction solvent, it can be used in Grignard reactions, coupling reactions, coupling amination reactions, metal reduction reactions, Lewis acid reactions, Friedel-Crafts reactions, and other reactions.

3. Also used in extraction, crystallization, surface treatment, and polymerization processes.
